Martha Young

Martha is a poet, writer, and editor. She leads workshops, serves as a writing coach, and trains in psychoanalysis. She has edited books, short stories, and essays for private clients and has worked in publishing for National Geographic, Aperture Magazine, and National Journal. She has also started and run many different literary and artistic groups, including book groups for children and teens. She also writes children's and young adult literature, and once worked as a children's book buyer. She completed the Radcliffe Publishing Course, the New Directions Psychoanalytic Writing Program, the Amherst Writers and Artist's Training, and holds an MFA from the University of Maryland.
